Hello All, as you know I'm gonna mobile from Fulton County on Saturday afternoon. After a year of trying, I finally got
CW working in the Pocket Rocket again so will try to be on both SSB and some CW this year. I'm not a high speed
CW operator so bear with me but I will try to help you guys who CW only, have at least a chance at Fulton.
I suspect most of my operations will be on 40 SSB but CW on 20 and 40 is at least a better possibility that it was a week
ago. My 20 meter SSB signal is not the best so won't waste much time there but I may call CQ a few time and see if anyone
comes back.
My employer has decided to give me sunday off work too I found out recently so the jury is out on whether I'll go north for
another day.
I am a bit surprised that no one yet has announced any plans for Juniata County. I went there Sunday Morning of the Test
last year and worked 100 stations from the mobile. I heard 2 other stations from Juniata too last year although many thanked
me for giving them that county. It was among the rare counties last year even with 3 or 4 part time stations on.
Undecided mobiles and rovers may want to keep Juniata in mind. If Fulton is a big sucess for me I may consider Juniata on
Sunday if no one has volunteered.
Unrelated but maybe of interest to some, I know some stations search for stations in the State Capitals in search of some awards.
This Tuesday Next I will be in Dover DE mobile on the 40 meter nets of the 3905 CCN 7.178 from roughly 7:30- 9 PM and then on
the OMISS net on 7.185 from Roughly 9PM till I get tired of calls, possibly 10:20 or 10:30 PM. For the County Hunters its KENT
County.
See you in the pileups?
