Hi all,
I just checked the weather for our part of PA, and Saturday looks good.
Sunday is iffy.
Part of our team will be running JEF from our usual location in Sigel, PA.
Meanwhile, the rest of the team will be going rover into FOR, and ELK during
the daylight hours.
I haven't decided yet on a rover antenna. I may use my trusty G5RV mounted
at 15', or possibly a multi-band vertical with not enough radials. I figure
that either should be a real cloud-burner because of the mounting
configuration.
Software at both locations will be N1MM. We'll be generating 2 seperate
logs, obviously. I wanted to submit both operations, giving credit to our
home club in OH. But the rules limit the club competition to PA clubs only.
This might be something the committee wants to tweak in the coming years.
On the way home from last years contest, I blew a transmission. I'm praying
that history does NOT repeat itself this time!
BTW, I lost the g on my keyboard this weekend. I have 2 options for
generating a g. 1) pound like heck on the keyboard, or 2) enter the letter
by it's ASCII code. My spare keyboards are packed away for a move, and I'm
too lazy to find one. :-)
See you all next weekend. Remember to check out www.kd8mq.info/pqp.

The Lone Ranger may be an interesting story,
but we accomplish more when we all work together.
