Hello all

Bob, WC3O here. Radio Officer for Skyview Radio Society. We are VERY happy
to be the 2010 PA QSO Party bonus station! Here are some of the things we
are working on:

We will be using K3MJW. We have not finalized if we will be working
multi-county or not. We are still working on seeing if we have enough ops
that want to work in rare counties. We do have a site opportunity for Forest
County and maybe others. I will let everyone know as soon as we make a final
decision.

As Mike said, this is Skyview’s 50th anniversary year and is has been a
really great time for us. I do want to thank all the clubs and folks that
have been so good to us over the years. A couple years ago we had a
microburst come through our clubhouse grounds and do major damage. Today we
are about fully recovered and in some ways better than before. We have a
multi-multi station set up and are capable of operating any digital mode. We
do hope to spend a good about of time on RTTY as well as PSK for the
contest. Naturally we will be heavy on phone and CW as well. The only thing
we are missing at this point is a 160 antenna, but plans are in the works to
change that. We also hope to work all the way up to 6 meters.

Again, many thanks to Mike and the PA QSO folks for allowing us to be the
bonus station this year. We are really looking forward to the event.

Also, we are doing our own little Skyview PA QSO Party tradition again this
year: The Skyview PA QSO Party apple pie bake-off! This started a few years
back when the cooks in the club started insulting each other (and related
wives, mothers and so one) on who makes the best apple pies. There was spit,
black eyes, busted ribs and some REALLY good apple pies made! The challenge
still stands by the way... We take on all comers.

Any question please lemme know

Best 73 from K3MJW
Bob, WC3O
