Greetings.......first ...thanks to all the mobile stations 
for putting those counties on the air.  It really makes this 
a neat contest.  And thanks to the portable and rover 
stations for your labors.   The K3MJW stations did great in 
getting their stations on the bands and modes.  Too bad the 
propagation did not co-operate as usual.    I heard nothing 
on 10 m and 6m,  very little on 15m and only the better 
equiped stations making contacts on 20m.   40m was all 
ground wave and did not go long.....did not hear many if any 
WIS MN ID  Ala LA MS stations on 160m 80m or 40m.   My low 
antennas worked well in this situation.   Started 2.5 hrs 
late but had a spliced 80m loop to work with that made my 
weekend.  It hangs over my yard.

         The propagation was down and so is my score but I 
will not be beat by a portable, rover, mobile or weekend 
warrior again.       This is a pair that beats the full 
house for anyone in Carbon.....except for K3NG/qrp    K3PP - 
HP   It has been a rough year but we survived and will only 
get better.   THANKS FOR BEING THERE !!   See you all next 
year.....often
