I'd just as soon not see them. As a mark of good operating procedure, and
with logging software, a duplicate contact just seems messy and has no
place in a submitted log. Some other contests/parties allow them. That's just
my opinion  however.

==================

While nobody should knowingly call a guy to make a duplicate contact, we
all know that dupes happen for lots of reasons. Most contesters find that
it is better to just work and log a dupe, rather than to spend time
discussing  the previous qso.

1. It is usually a lot faster to just work the guy.

2. You may not be in the other guy's log for what you thought was your
previous qso. If that is the case and you don't make and log the second qso,
you won't have any contact with the guy, who may have been a good
multiplier.

See you all as W3USA/M in about 20 counties on Saturday!
