All,

I agree with Larry with one addition, IT DOES NOT HAVE NETWORK SUPPORT.
Unlike the N3FJP Field Day version which has the network version to
setup multiple stations and works very well, the PAQSO version does not
support network setup making it difficult to use it. It is a single
operator only version unless you dedicate certain pc's for certain
bands, then you have to combine all the log files in the end to make one
log file that calculates score.

PaQP'ers,

I also like N3FJP's program and use it for many events. But be aware
that it cannot support both CW sending and rig control on a single
serial port. Scott has no plans to change that. If you have a (old)
computer with real serial and parallel ports you can key thru the
parallel port and rig control thru the serial.

Also with no serial port on newer laptop you will have to use USB to
serial converter. I've tried several with uneven results and frustrating
setups.

WriteLog does support the use of a single (real or USB derived) serial
port for both functions. I don't particularly like the program but
that's what I'll use this time.

If anyone has a different take on this subject please tell the group.

See you from ARM
