Interesting discussion.  I have never really understood
why the QRP station has to compete against the low
power and amp stations.  Seems to me it should be
three separate categories with three separate sets of
awards.  That makes the need for a power multiplier
unnecessary and past year's scores can have the power
multiplier removed if they need to be compared to the
present day scores.  Makes it easier for the logging
programs also.

PAQP is a big one and it would probably even get
bigger with more awards to generate more activity.
