Thanks for sharing Bud. As usual, very good reading.

You are truely the "gold standard" for this event. Your opinions and strategy are to be respected.

RE: your comments on mults and sweeps: I couldn't agree more. Setting a goal of a county sweep and wroking hard toward that end can be a rewarding strategy/accomplishment for operator A, but maybe not so much for operator B. I would classify myself as operator B. I believe it was Kelly, VE4?? (VE4ST?) who said "Mult's happen". I enjoy a county sweep as much as the next guy, but not at the expense of 50 - 100 QSO points

I think each Pa QSO Party has it's defining issue and I would say that this year it was 40 M being long. Sometimes the defining issue is just "normal" conditions; sometimes dead 40 meters, sometimes wide open condx on 10/15 to EU. In that sense, I guess The party is a lot like Forrest Gumps box of chocolates.

I was on 20 CW early Saturday (1730z or so) but did not go to 20 SSB until Sunday.....shame on me.

I went QRT around 1900z Sunday so I could get home at a reasonable hour. Sounds like I missed some prime operating time on 40/80 operating.

Again, thanks for sharing. And it's always a pleasure working big, smoothe signal of AA3B.

73 all and hope to work many of you in SS CW two weeks and a day from today.

Back to CMB next year (probably)
