Hi,
I just finished validating the last of the pages on the site. All the
2005 data has been incorporated, and Hopefully, there aren't any glitches.
Yeas ago, I started a practice that continues today. When the Pa QSO
Party results are released, I total them according to county, and add
them to my spreadsheet. This made it much easier to to pick a rare
county for out portable operation in October. It was also fun to predict
whether a given county would have a lot of activity, or not.
Year ago, I started posting the info to the web, so everyone could use
it. The site has moved around a little over the last few years, finally
landing on a URL which I intend to keep for a long time.
Anyway, I have to mention firts off that this is not the official PA QSO
Party website, nor am I affiliated with NARC. I'm just a number cruncher
who happens to enjoy the PA QSO Party. The folks who put on the party
for us every October deserve a huge round of applause for all they do.
They've grown the PQP into one of, if not the best state QSO Parties in
the country. Thanks guys.
My site is located at http://www.kd8mq.info/pqp/index.html. Please take
a second, and check out your county, or your neighbors county. Whatever,
just let me know if you find anything that needs corrected, no matter
how picky it seems, I want to know about it.
Also, feel free to pass the link to our fellow PQP'ers who may not be on
the reflector. It's there for all to use.
See you in October. Hopefully, I'll be signing KD8MQ/3 from ARM.
73,
John Myers, KD8MQ
