Same here. I routinely have a few 440 contacts each PA QSO Party (usually with my wife). I knew WARC and repeater contacts were out of bounds, but not basic 2m and 440.

No vhf/uhf contacts above 2m? Well that would not make sense... The WARC
bands are out-of-bounds for all contests not just the party. This is the
first I've heard anything of this.... '02 I did have 7 contacts on 440 ssb
as N3ZHC in LYC, '03 I had 5 contacts as K3LYC also in LYC, turned them in
on my logs and never heard a thing about it.
In my area 70cm contacts are very few and extremely far between. There
is a couple of repeater that get used in the area, but little simplex or
ssb. I do not attempt contacts on anything above 6m anymore, but I do
listen. I know there is a few stations out there to work., but from what
I've learned the key word here is few.
I myself would have to say that if someone wants to go through all the
work to actually put a station together for those bands knowing they
probably won't do well, or should I say hoping to do well(hi-hi), then more
power to them!
