Comments: The price of gasoline and the need to be home for a "Surprise" 
birthday party for a
  very close friend eliminated the possibility of operating mobile this 
year in the PA QSO Party.
The birthday party meant I was not able to operate on Saturday evening from 
1800 until 0000 UTC.

Apparently, I missed the mobiles in DAU during that time, so I missed 
getting the Clean Sweep,
because I could not find a DAU station all of Sunday.  I even resorted to 
calling "CQ DAU" for the
last 15 minutes of the QSO Party.  Once again I enjoyed this "best" QSO 
Party.

It was fun to make some phone contacts, which I was seldom able to while 
running mobile in PA.
Just could never be heard on phone with my little 50 Watt signal, even when 
in "rare" counties. In
2003, we ran 39 counties including DAU - Hi !

Hopefully gas prices next year will allow me to come again and travel 
around the state to see the
beautiful leaves and operate mobile in some of the rare counties.  I would 
prefer that it not rain all
weekend though. - Hi !
