I was listening to a SSB station who came on and told the PA QSO Party Station on 3980 that he has to shut the contest down so they can have their net in 30 minutes.  The contester was very polite and said he would QSY ten minutes prior to the net.  That was better than just getting mad and start jamming away.  I know there are some Katrina/Rita Nets still running on 80m.

One thing good about contests is that it gets stations on the WARC bands!

I threw off the headphones more than once too.

I did get clobbered by a guy trying jam the mobile station KN4SK in Clinton county.  He had a tough time trying to jam CW stations! ha ha 

I have a lot to learn that is the best thing part about it for me, it keeps me humble.
