[PaQSO] Dinner Cancellation

Much to our dismay, we announce the CANCELLATION of the Ham/Turkey Family Dinner that was planned for the Juniata Valley ARC Hamfest/PaQP Meet-n-Greet Rendezvous on Aug.7, 2004, in Lewistown, Pa.
This cancellation is due to a lack of interest/reservations for the dinner.  To those who have made their reservations, we express our heart-felt gratitude, and all checks received, are presently being returned.  Unfortunately, it was not feasible to prepare such a meal, with a minimal number attendees.  Sorry it didn't "Work-Out", but, we gave it our "Best Shot" !  Perhaps we'll give it another "Shot", next year.
The Ladies Auxiliary will be providing their "Usual Menu" of Bacon/Ham/Cheese Breakfast Sandwiches, their famous "Hot Sausage" sandwiches, with coffee/donuts, etc.

All other announced activities for the Hamfest/PaQP Meet-n-Greet will proceed as scheduled.  Harry Bump, KM3D, has tentatively agreed to bring a computer, and he will grace us with a demonstration of his latest version of PAQWin Logging Software.  Mni Tks to Harry !  Again, power is provided in the "Meet-n-Greet" Pavillion, and a G5RV antenna will be installed for anyone who wishes to bring an HF Rig, with Pwr Supply/Ant. Tuner.

Arrangements have been made for production of the PaQP Meet-n-Greet Commemorative Vehicle I.D. Plate, which will be raffled-off, and 5 other Door Prizes are in place.

We apologize for any inconvenience that may have been caused by the cancellation of the dinner.  Hope to see all PaQP'ers & MAQP'ers, to have an "Eyeball & Chat", and hopefully we'll make this event a memorable one !
