I also agree with Kay & other postings about this......
In the past I used NA and would log an entry three times on first
contact with said station. After that,
I would only log one of the counties on a repeat contact so as not to
cause many logging problems in NA.
If I worked any operator on a county line station that was a new county,
and another county I had worked
Previously, I would only enter the county I didn't have. After all, the
log shows that we worked each other at
said time, and saves logging time on my part.
However, with the logging programs now handling county lines with
ease, I don't see the sense to it.
There programs out there that handle this is Writelog, KM3D, and , the
one I use KA3JWE ( a free program ).
I will say that KA3JWE's support is excellent, and was always glad to
hear about problems, and does
something about it. I don't know how N1MM contest logger ( another free
progam ) handles the county lines.
Perhaps someone else could comment on this. I would have to say, let
this change alone.
