Oh my goodness. The repeal of the KC3CL Rule!
...one year in the early '80's, Dave operated from a county line, and
claimed that his pickup truck bed actually straddled the line. So when he
worked you, he worked you from one county, allegedly moved his seat to the
other side of the truck bed, and then worked you from the other county.
In any event, I agree with Kay that this repeal was not a good idea, and
will cause more problems than it solves. In my own case, when I was still
using my own dBase IV routines to log, I solved the "problem" simply by
putting -- in my own log -- a QSO entry for each county, all showing the
same sent & rcvd serial numbers. I just made sure that the extra entries
indicated (if neccesary) a new multiplier, but counted for 0 points.
