This is exactly what we plan to do. =20
To clarify my original post, I will be identifying my county with every CQ,=20
and most "QRZ's" unless I know I had multiple callers for the previous conta=
ct.=20
And I may say rover or mobile, especially on SSB. But my point is that I=20
don't want people to think they can work me as both a "Rover" and a "Mobile"=
from=20
the same county (on the same band/mode). And I don't want to claim credit=20
for such either.

I use NA, which if you type "OPTIONS" and check "QTH MUST MATCH FOR DUPE"=20
there is no need for signing /M, /R, /BUX, or whatever. If your logging prog=
ram=20
needs a "/M" to make it work, go ahead and enter my call as K8MR/M.
I considered using two calls. However, (1) I like my own call a lot better=20
than W8DRZ/3 :-) , and (2) I would like to see how a hybrid rover/mobile=20
score would turn out. After checking with the NARC folks, I know the PaQP d=
oes=20
not allow that, so I will enter two scores (they will allow that), either of=
=20
which will not be as good a score as a full time effort would produce. For=20=
my=20
own interest I will be calculating what the combined score would be. With t=
wo=20
calls I could not accurately do such a hypothetical score.
As a practical matter, working SSB mobile is very difficult, so I will be=20
spending most, though not all, of my time mobile on CW. The "rover" stuff w=
ill=20
be mostly SSB, except where we will be doing very little driving in a county=
. =20
Therefore I don't expect there won't be much overlap between the two.
Three additional points:
1. This year I have added a Hustler 3 band antenna system to my HamSticks.=20=
=20
Therefore I should have 4 bands available at a time, vs. only 2 in previous=20
years. So I will be able to QSY for extra qsos - just be able to move quick=
ly=20
if you ask!
And furthermore, when I have the 10 meter resonator installed (along with 15=
&
20) it gives a very good match on six meters. I don't expect a lot of=20
activity there, but I may an occasional CQ on 50.125, especially if on a hil=
ltop.=20
2. Other than our first county (Mercer) we don't have our rover stops set i=
n=20
stone. If as the Party goes on there seem to be missing counties, let us=20
know and we'll consider that in deciding to where to stop and put up the dip=
oles.
3. We're not completely crazy. If it's raining, we're not going to be=20
outside putting up antennas multiple times! We'll stay dry inside as a mobi=
le.
CU in the PaQP!
