 Comments:
And yet another fantastic PaQP! The fall foilage was in season and made our
trip to the big woods even more beautiful. Thanks to the W3KWH folks for
the
bonus effort. And thanks to all the mobiles, rovers, portables and all
others
who made this a great contest. NP2SH, you folks were everywhere! Thanks
for the VI section.
And of course thanks to the NARC.
Broke my last year's score by about 3,000 and am pleased with that. Swept
the counties also!
While it was a bit closer this year than last, WA3SES did it to me again.
He just seems to have found my number over the past few years. Congrats Ed!
Had a dipole on each band, and except for 10m, they were worth it.
Admittedly, I didn't listen to 10 very
much and probably missed some good openings. The 2 meter vertical didn't
help in the effort.
Again, probably could have caught someone there if I CQ'd but was too busy
on HF. Bad excuse.

Best things about this year: Improved my score from last year. Having
dipoles on every band. 160 was HOT!!
Fall foilage was extraordinary. The truly generous and friendly operators.
No freq pushing or shoving at all.

Things to improve on next year: Mults. Need to get the number to 140.

Strange happenings: Giving N3FA #582 and receiving #582 in return! Figure
the odds.

Suggestion: Please, move the Friday night net to a new frequency. Too many
low-lifes waiting
to TRY to spoil the fun.

Thanks again to all of you for such a great time. This was again one of
those events that I
hated to see come to an end. What a beautiful weekend indeed.
