Also another Tioga COunty Station N3FE (Single Op)
I had quite a few people ask me for CW this year. I hope I helped out
those CW only stattion.
I didn't get much time to operate. Less than last year. I had a sick son
and it seemed everytime I snuck away when he would fall asleep, I would
get about 5 minutes operating time before he was back up again. I
operated less time, but had more CW contacts. I had about 3,000 more
points this year. One of these years I will be able to do the whole
contest instead of a little time here and there.
The NR3K "Gang", myself, and NM3O all hung out on 146.550 to stay in
touch. We heard other people on that freq now and then, but no one would
answer us.
I will post my score once I get it double checked.
I had a lot of fun, and I can't wait until next year. To bad this event
didn't happen twice a year!
