Are we losing our ability to "Communicate" ? In years past, "Aural =
Communication" began with a "Grunt" ! Someone said: "Hey ! That Grunt =
sounds good, so, let's make it A WORD" ! And then came "Many types of =
Grunts" (Loud ones, Soft ones, High Pitched ones, Low PItched one, =
etc.), and soon, we had a "Language" ! Along too, came an alphabet, by =
which we could "Write and Define the Language" ! Question: Since there =
are only two "Grunts" in the word "NO", which one of those two "Grunts" =
is the one that is most frequently MIS-UNDERSTOOD ? i.e. "NO" you may =
not Cheat ! "NO" you may not LIE ! "NO" you may not apply YOUR =
INTERPRETATION of the rules to benefit YOU, at a cost to everyone else ! =
=20
Since there are, perhaps, a few among us (one that I know of) who have =
this mis-understanding of "NO", you may ask: "Why then, are the =
"Cheaters", and the "Liars" permitted to continue their participation in =
the Pa. QSO Party (or any other), when their whole purpose is to "make a =
big dis-honest score", while DISHONORING that which the majority of =
participants hold SACRED ? There's a solution to this problem, that =
generally "Pops-Up" near election time, and that is: "THROW THE BUM =
OUT" !
If a Sea-Gull were to "deposit a dropping" in your glass of Iced Tea, =
would you use a spoon to remove the dropping alone, and then continue to =
drink the Iced Tea ? I would hope not ! Would it not be better to =
ELIMINATE the probability of a "Sea Gull" being in our midst ?
Let's establish some unquestionable, and DEFINITIVE answers to our =
questions of "What is: "Single Op.", "Rover", "Mobile", "Portable" , =
"County Line", etc., etc., etc. Perhaps then, we can all enjoy the =
event , with a total understanding of the rules, in the SPIRIT for which =
the event was intended, without the "Shadows of Doubt" hanging over our =
head. We have time to do it, but, WE MUST GET STARTED !
"He who tolerates INSULT, invites INJURY" !
