I'd suggest this hamfest (Juniata Valley ARC) be given consideration, a=
long
with Bloomsburg and whatever else pops up.
Sure looks to be about as centrally located within Pa as we might
find..........The village of Alfarata huh? I think I'd get to see parts=
of
Pa I may never have seen, (or heard of) before.
This hamfest is on a Saturday; I'm just letting my mind wander here a b=
it,
but I can envision driving over Friday after work, spending the night;
visiting the hamfest in the morning; maybe we could have a breakfast or=
lunch somewhere; spending the afternoon looking at whatever sights may =
be
in the area and/or just riding around with the wife, and finishing up t=
he
day with a buffet style dinner in a banquet room somewhere.
Well, we have plenty of time to talk it out.

Our Juniata Valley ARC Hamfest is scheduled for August 7, 2004, in
Lewistown, Pa., Mifflin County ! We'd love to have ALL OF YOU ! This=
has
been an ANNUAL EVENT for the past 7 years, (or more), we are considered=
to
be a "Small Hamfest", but perhaps "The Most Friendly" ! Following is t=

JUNIATA VALLEY ARC HAMFEST

FEATURES:
Set Up: 7 August 2004 at 06:30 AM
General Admission: 8:00 AM
Food: Provided by the Decatur Township Fire Company Ladies' Auxiliary
Morning: Coffee and Donuts Famous Egg/cheese and more
sandwiches.
Later Morning: Lunch Items including HOT SAUSAGE SANDWICHE=
S
Admission: $3.00 Donation. XYL and children free.
Tailgating: $ 5.00 Donation, includes admission.
Indoor Tables: $ 10.00 Donation per table. Space is limited.
Vendors responsible to collect PA sales tax=

Electricity $ 2.00 additional. Please bring=
your own power cords.
