Bob,

The Nittany ARC used to have a hamfest that co-incided with the Arts
Festival. I know when I was involved with them it was held first out at the
old HRB-Singer picnic grounds, later out closer to Bellefonte. After I left
town, it disappeared. I think there was a short-lived revival, but it
hasn't been around for a good many years.

Currently being involved with the Wireless Association's WASHFest hamfest, I
can tell you that the logistics of trying to start up a new hamfest can be
daunting. I wouldn't rule it out, but I wouldn't hold much hope for a
revival of any dormant hamfest in the near future.

I LIKE that idea....kills two birds with one stone. ( uhhh, did I just give
away my age.....?)

Is there a hamfest in Centre County??? If so, this event could really
draw
and benefit both groups. Its also a natural draw for PSU grads from out of
town.
