The (arguably) largest two hamfests in WPA are the Breezeshooter's Hamfest
in June (1st Sunday) and the Butler Co ARA Hamfest / WPA Section Convention
in September (Sunday after Labor Day). There are always a large assortment
of PaQP ops in attendance at one or the other.

So, rather than trying to start a new PaQP hamfest, why not hold a
get-together at one or more existing ones? I'd suggest picking two major
hamfests -- one EPA, one WPA -- and alternating an annual get-together
between the two. Doing so in conjunction with a major hamfest makes sense
as it gives people additional reasons to go besides the get-together itself.

No, I don't know enough about the various EPA hamfests to make a suggestion.
