I like WT3P's suggestion of tying a meet/greet into an existing hamfest.

Besides a chance to meet and greet, perhaps some Pa QSO Party related
events along the lines of what was done in Erie back in the mid 90's could
be scheduled......a little buffet meal the night before the
hamefest.....maybe a few comments by the NARC folks.....perhaps a
presentation or two by some of the folks who write Pa QSO Party specific
software.....maybe some reminiscing by W3USA re: all the mobiling he's done
over the years (or any or the mobiling regulars/Rover/Portables).

Are there any (reasonably) big hamfests in CEN or MIF or CLI or LYC or UNI
or SNY or JUN or HUN, etc, in the summer time?

The date would be very important. Such a meet/greet took place in the
recent past, in the Harrisburg area I believe but, if memory serves, (and
more and more frequently it does not), it was close to either the Memorial
day or July 4th holiday; or maybe just a date that conflicted with my
personal calendar.

Anyhow, lets shake the trees here and see what falls out.
