I also like the idea of CW carrying a bonus, then again I'm a CW lover.  I
too consider it an incentive for those who might otherwise stick strictly to
SSB. 

However, to me there's nothing like working a CW pileup (mini pileup by the
rare DX standards, but non the less a pileup) and responding with only the
prefix or the suffix to someone who threw their call into the pile.  What a
fantastic feeling.  

I also contend that there should be some form of incentive for 10-15-20
meter contacts.  This would lure more operators to those bands thus
attracting additional "west of the Mississippi" and DX participation.
