What I tried to point out, politely, was that there are many factors--beyond 
the XYL--which can interfere with a recreational activity.  Examples include 
a course or seminar required for work, a death in the family, being invited 
to the wedding of your boss's (or best friend's) daughter, appendicitis, 
having to make a filing to IRS on Oct. 15th (the fine is only $1000/day for 
late reports!); there are 100s more.

I can only envy those who have such focused lives that nothing EVER 
interferes with, or takes priority over, their hobby.
