Thanks very much Mike for taking care of the site. I'm sure it requires a
lot of thankless hours of maintenance and, even though we may not say it as
often as we should, we really do appreciate it.

Subject: [PaQSO] Re: PAQSO Web Pages Major Change

In the near future, the Web pages for the PAQSO party will be
undergoing a Major Change. I suggest that anyone needing the entry
form get one now.

The web pages grew up over time, and as often happens, they
get overly complicated and not all that easy to navigate.

The software links are on the rules page, multiple links on
different pages in different areas abound. Not that there is
necessarily anything *wrong*, but it could be easier to navigate.
Just little stuff like that.

The web pages will be taken down, then they will be replaced
with new ones.

At the start, we will post the preliminary scores as they
come in. Then after Chuck finishes the scoring the final scores will
be posted.

Pay attention here. The scores will be posted in two forms:

	Excel format

	PDF format

I had given a lot of thought to this, and concluded that we
just had too darn many different formats on the pages. Although I
don't anticipate as many corrections this year as last, every change
last year precipitated a real domino effect.

I assume that everyone knows about PDF's, but if anyone does
not, they are a viewing and printing application, and a free reader
can be downloaded from Adobe.

The new pages should have a nice streamlined nature, and
navigation should be easy.
