This is so clich=E9, and so overused, that it's almost become a useless
phrase.
C'mon folks, you should know by now that nobody is suggesting the PaQP =
is
"broke". Who in their right mind would even contemplate such a thought =
when
there are stations (K3ANS) making over 3,300 contacts in a 22 hour =
period?
Besides, when was the last change made to the basic PaQP contest =
workings?
Maybe the addition of the rover class? In my (relatively short) 11 =
years of
serious PaQP operating, I'm not aware of any other changes. That said, =
I
don't think we're in danger of all out rules revamping. =20
My own feelings - this is healthy, suggestive conversation being =
offered up
by the pillars of the PaQP contesting community who are interested in =
not
only keeping it the best, but also in improving it's popularity. =20
I thoroughly enjoy reading the suggestions. Granted, I believe some of =
them
are somewhat "out there", but at least these people are interested in
attempting to make it an even better event. =20
I vote for keeping the forum open, and believe it or not, there may =
come a
day when we have even more fun during that fabulous 2nd weekend in =
October.
