The answer to the Sunday afternoon slow down is to
get more people to operate the contest.  This needs
to be both in state and out of state.  People come out
of the woodwork for a chance to win smoked salmon
or a bottle of wine.  What would PA have to offer the
multitude?  How about Penn State caps the first year,
Steeler caps the second year, A Philly cap the third
year.  Make them collector items and people would
come back year after year and probably pay a couple
of bucks.  For example.

Out of state (in addition to the donation)
Work 500 stations - Free
Work 400 stations - $1
Work 300 stations - $2
Work 200 stations - $4

In state (in addition to the donation)
Work 1000 stations - Free
Work 800 stations - $1
Work 600 stations - $2
Work 400 stations - $4

Caps wouldn't have to be ordered until after the
log deadline so an exact number could be ordered.
If properly priced, they would pay for themselves
and the postage.

If a cap recipient is a member of a club you send
them all to the club president and ask him/her to
present them at the next club meeting.  That would
help generate even more interest for the next year.
