OK, I QSL your QTC. Thanks! QRZ...

QTC's are a gimmick of certain EU contests. Let's not bother with gimmicks.
Let's try and get more people on the air to cover more counties.

Besides, Sundays may be a little slow, but there are still people to work.
How many besides me remember that for years on end, you never had to worry
about Venango County -- just wait for the last 2 or 3 hours of the contest,
when N3BAT would finally show up! And that's just one...

Well, it really should not take anywhere near 3 minutes to send a QTC if
both
OPs are decent operators and any operator can just send "NIL" to a QTC
request anyway and just keep sending his CQ.

I fail to see how QTCs "slow things down" when, after all, a point is a
point
is a point, at least from the standpoint of the sending station.

If your county is really that rare, then you can be sure that the stations
really needing you will standy by while you QTC and they will have the
benefit of listening to the QTC, a report that might tell them where another
needed multiplier was last heard.

As it is now, Sunday is a poor second to Saturday. I spent most of the time
Sunday just trying to find ANY PA station I had not already worked on any
band...my computer beeping madly at me when I entered any of the heard
callsigns as these were all dupes. Sunday is therefore rather boring...and
maybe having QTCs for Sunday only would add a little something to the
scoring.

Short of that or something similar and I thing PAQP should be Saturday only.

My 2 cents! 73
