Jim, I will forward your request to our operating team. The primary =
operators on 10 meters from W3FRC at K3ANS will be KC3WX, W3CF. and =
N3VJA. I will ask them to check the announced frequencies and respond =
to you. We intend to publicize all our operating frequencies on other =
bands. For example on 20 meters we will announce our running =
frequencies on 10, 15, 40, and 80. Although we will use the DX Packet =
Cluster, my guess is that as a mobile you probably will not be =
monitoring it. Plus the Cluster may not circulate far enough for all of =
you to see our spots. We request that all stations who are connected to =
the DX Packet Cluster spot W3FRC frequently so the more people can work =
us. We intend to NOT change frequencies much. If we stay on one =
frequency, more stations can find us and mobiles can come back to us as =
they change counties and ARRL and CRRL sections. See our announcement =
in QST and CQ.. Thanks for your interest and support. Bill, K3ANS>>

  Subject: W3FRC on Ten Meters

Where do you expect to operate on 10 SSB?

Some time back I noted on the PaQP reflector that the "official" =
recommended 10 meter SSB frequency of 28310 is hopelessly out of the =
mainstream of 10 meter activity. The comments in reply agreed, but not =
surprisingly nothing was changed or otherwise suggested.

As a mobile coming from out of state, I'm hardly the one to lead the =
public charge to change this. However, I'd think that you would be in =
the ideal position to announce, on the PaQP reflector and on CQ-Contest, =
that you'll be hanging out on some more reasonable frequency - like =
28380 or 28480 - but occasionally checking the originally suggested =
28310.

I don't expect to spend great amounts of time on 10, but when I do I'd =
like to find someone to work. Including W3FRC!
