Ray, you'll probably be gone by the time this hits the reflector but wanted
to say good luck.

By the way, I like your 2 conditions for allowing your XYL to accompany you
on your trips.  Now that's conviction folks!

Also best of luck to all of you, and for those venturing out into the
weather, be safe.  

Let's make some noise and make it one of the best contests to date!

Do you know whether the weather will wither.
Tsk tsk. I'm leaving in the morning. It's about 250 miles to INN.
Looks like it will be a rainy trip. Then rain predicted thru
Friday, (my antenna day), and possibly into Saturday.
Thank goodness I put a new rubber roof on the trailer.
Maybe conditions on the bands will compensate for the
trials and tribulations of setting-up.

Nice to see all the activity on the reflector. I wouldn't be 
surprised if this one surpasses all the past Parties.

HISTORY  =  XYL RULES  etc.
Way back -when-, my first wife (deceased), asked if I 
wouldn't like her to accompany me on my portable ventures,
whereby I told her NO. And I explained that she would be totally
bored because I would not take any breaks, for anything.
When I was going with my present XYL, she asked if she 
could go along. I told her, "only on two conditions", which 
she accepted, and has been going along ever since.
The conditions were,  1. Don't attempt to talk to me while
I am operating, and  2. Don't try to get me to take a break,
not for eating, or sex, or anything else.  That was 1998.
So far, so good.
Do I count my blessings?
