That was kind of what I figured. I actually have 20
odd feet on one of the whips, it rises and then has a
right angle that brings it up to the front of the
car...it's a military NVIS whip, and it plays great on
40 out to about 350 miles or so. The other whip is the
SGC, and that does play on 160, sort of.
I'll be close to the mid-point of the population on
Saturday night, so if I can't get 160 to play, there's
always 80 cw!
