about last year's results, so all I can suggest is that concerns continue to
be directed to the Nittany ARC. I don't think it does much good here on the
reflector as those who were in charge of the contest last year don't appear
to belong to the reflector and thus never see anything. >>

Let's also remember that the PAQP is 1 weekend of fun for most of us, but
weeks of unpaid work for the contest committee. While we're working CQWW,
putting up holiday decorations, and doing Christmas shopping--they're opening
envelopes, checking logs and compiling results. When we're working on income
tax and taking the XYL out for Valentine's Day--they're still working on the
contest results!

We've been lucky enough to have super log compilations in the past. This
year, thanks to old man Murphy, and a crashed computer, we didn't. So,
instead of focusing on this year's "less than perfect" report, how 'bout a
big "Thank You" to the NARC contest committee, past and present, for their
efforts! And, let's send a word of encouragement to K3CM and the rest of
the NARC crew who will make the BEST QSO PARTY IN THE COUNTRY come to life
next October.
