Sorry I wacked the bee hive... When I posted the comment on Rover, I forgot 
to change my domain name(usually go by robsonco.com instead of erie.net), 
so it was kicked off by the list server about a month ago and I forgot to 
resubmit until recently. Still, I just don't see the commitment from NARC 
as in years past. I know myself I could just as easily sit in a county and 
make 100K plus points, but I committed to "Rovering" in various counties 
knowing full well I will have a compromised score (besides I can't work at 
home with the twins KB3B & K3LD operating the QSO party). Doug brought 
passion to this event and I would like to see that passion continue with 
NARC. After doing my first Pa QSO party 22 years ago, if I don't do any 
operating during the year, I still make an effort to do this party. I put 
together the first PA QSO Party symposium and number of years ago in Erie 
and if any one thinks this is just another contest was not at the first 
symposium. I have friends forever due to this contest, that's the passion I 
want to keep.
