[PaQSO] I disagree

But the only thing constant is change...

Maybe an "easy" clean sweep is PAQP's victim of its own success. It is an
enjoyable contest to work and the break period is nice. This has drawn many
into its fold and given us the opportunity to get that clean sweep. I was 50%
of the way there in the first three hours of last year's and missed by only
two. I could not believe the multiplier chart, but there they were. We all
have to say thanks to those that hit the road

If you can do the double sweep of SSB and CW, then -- in my opinion -- an award
is appropriate.

Now a question, are portables eligible for the county certificate? If not, I
agree with Dick that that's not right. You may never break a sweat but running
portable is a lot of work as compared to hitting the power switch on your home
station. I am already running everything I'll need radio wise for heading out
to CLI this year. I will be even setting up the station in my backyard the week
before to double check. If I forget something, I probably will not have the
luxury of running to Radio Shack to get it. Whereas the home station is ready
to go at a moments notice. I say, if your in the county and you get the top
score for it, you get the certificate.
