We put up the ARRL Handbook 135-ft multiband center-fed (ladderline)
dipole for field day this year. Got lucky with the slingshot and had it
up about 60 ft !! We were very pleased. We were only running 2 watts
(1B-Battery -solar powered) but seemed able to work anyone we could hear.
We concentrated on 80-40-20 where we found more activity and did not
spend much time on 15-10. We had separate dipoles for 40 (worked on 15),
20 and 10 but the 135 ft dipole worked so well we never bothered
switching.

Our PAQP antennas, though, will be a screwdriver on the bumper and
hamsticks on the roof again this year <g>.
