Thanks for coordinating this Ed. I know we'll have a blast!
C'mon folks, if nothing else this is a great way to keep the operating
skills tuned for the big one next October.
Hope to hear many of you on the air.
Take care.
Bob, N3FR (not portable in Warren for this one)

Subject: [PaQSO] NAQP Contest
The NAQP CW contest is this weekend; 1/12, 1800z to 1/13, 0600z.
For those familiar, no explanation required. For anyone not familial, this
contest affords the opportunity to compete as part of a team.
N3FR and myself will be operating and are looking for three more
individuals to join our team.
If you're interested, drop me an email at the above address or to
<[email protected]>
More info on the rules is available at:
http://www.ncjweb.com/index.php3?leftcol=contestmenu&rightcol=naqprules1
Even if you don't feel comfortable joining a team, try to get on for a
little and hand out a qso or two. The winter running of this event is
usually very well attended. The top stations will probably generate 1100
-1200 Q's in the 10 hours operating time allowed. Average stations (like
myself) should be able to run up 500-600 Q's.
So jump in and test the water if you get a chance and let me know if you
want to get on a team. If I get more than three interested parties I will
act a a clearing house to create more teams. We'll just call them:
The PaQP'ers team #1, Team #2, etc.
73 and hope all are off to a good start for the new year.
Anyone else with new year resolutions like mine? Operate radio more?
Contest More? Drink more? Take up smoking? Gain weight? Now those are
resolutions I think I can handle.
