   Don't know if this will help or not, but for the last ARRL Field Day I ran 
my TS-50S off a deep cycle battery at 50w out running psk and cw and I was 
able to run the whole event no problemo. The price of a deep cycle battery is 
probably around what it would cost to have a tow truck come out es give ya a
