I have V6.64 and the following is the contents of the uninstall.txt found in
winpack's docs. subdirectory. The instructions have been consistent
throughout winpack's history and may be the same for 6.80, but it would hurt
for your buddy to check his winpack directories for a similar file.--73

uninstall.txt;
ninstalling WinPack
--------------------
An automatic uninstaller is not provided with WinPack. This
is because, like many programs, WinPack creates files in its
own directories when it is run, and so cannot be properly
removed with an automatic utility.
If you decide you no longer want to use WinPack, all you have
to do is:-
1. If you have used WinPack since you last rebooted your PC,
then reboot it. This is necessary because Windows will still
be using the font file WINPACK.FON.
2. Delete the whole of the WINPACK directory structure.
3. Delete G4IDE7PL.DLL from your Windows SYSTEM directory.
