I should have been a little more specific in my first message.  I know 
if you are using a standard TNC that all you need is a terminal program 
to talk to it and you are on the air.  What I had in mind was something 
like the KA9Q program that would let me connect to the network with a 
KISS TNC.  Sorry for the double posting.
