Power plug center pin positive, OD 5.5mm ID 2.1mm Radio Shack has these.
PTT output good to +40VDC.  Output impedance 600Ohms, input sensitivity
20mVpp.  Modes of operation, Packet, WEFAX, KISS, Host, PBBS and KA-Node.

Unlike the KPC-3, set your terminal to 300bd if you have trouble.  This
seems to be the default if your KPC-2 goes brain dead.  It is also difficult
to hit * at just the right time to set the baud rate, it took me three
tries.
