To all,

Thanks for the info, I have since hooked it up to my power supply and it
seems to be working quite well. Kurt, I do have two questions for you, what
is the Audio port on the back of the unit for and how do I open the case to
inspect the battery on the inside? There only seems to be two screws on the
front and two on the back, but no top that lifts off.

To those who asked, I think the firmware is up to date. There is a sticker
on the bttom of the unit that has 11K12-00187. Kurt I understand you have
the manual, but does anyone have it in PDF or some other format that I could
print out?

Thanks

Yes, I have the tech Service Manual as well as user manual for KAM, KPC1, 2,
3, 4 and KPC 2400. You can run it from any 9 -14 vdc source. It pulls less
than 250mA. If you need anything else, get in touch.
