[Packet] APRS Problem Update

Good Morning All --

Thanks Steve -- your comment:

    "Are you sure your station is even transmitting?"

So "Element'ry Mr. Watson" (Duh!)  IT WAS NOT!! heh heh...

No kidding!  Oh sure, I saw my entry on the monitored page alright
AND I assumed (Oh there's that word "assumed" again!) that all
was well in that department whereas, in fact, my radio was never
being directed to put out a "peep" at all"

All parameters in the KPC-3 were correct; all the parameters in
APRS+SA were correct but the fact remains, I just was NOT
transmitting anything!  Still don't know why, but I'll find out eventually.

Remedy:  I downloaded the latest and greatest version of APRS+SA
which is a horror story all by itself - I'll spare you all the details but
the crux of that episode is that my new Dell Desktop HAS A NEW
BUG!

Anyway, eventually, I installed the new APRS+SA and everything
is working perfectly - well, it seems so anyway.

Still experimenting with whom to digi with and the right WIDE 
parameter to use.
