Hi All,

Just another reminder - the digital training net on tomorrow's 1701Z net
will be on KFC and we have decided, for simplicity's reasoning, NOT to use
the offset. The frequency, once again, will be KFC with NO offset. The mode
is RTTY.

Wednesday's AMTOR "B" net (same time and frequency) will include passing
traffic from NCS to all stations copy (QNC) and changing modes (either AMTOR
"A" or PACTOR) to repeat passing traffic between 2 stations then returning
to AMTOR "B" for net operations. Should be fun whether we are successful or
not.

Friday's PACTOR net (same time and frequency) will include the same mode
changing operations for practice sake. I have asked AAR0DF if he will be
continuing to NCS the Friday net and if I didn't hear back from him I would
take that as a negative response. Since these nets require some planning, if
I don't hear from him by Tuesday of this week, I will accept his lack of
response to mean he is no longer going to NCS the Friday digital training
net. In that case, I will do the honors. We are nearing the time when we
will begin to rotate NCS duties on the digital training nets so everyone has
solid experience in that area. For those members who don't already have the
preamble for the net, either request same from me by email or one may
acquire the preamble from the Oregon Gateway.

A sincere welcome to all stations who are capable of RTTY operations for our
digital training nets are just that - training nets. Although we work hard
to get our procedures correctly, mistakes are handled by reference to the
entire net, not an individual.
