 That’s a great idea. My daughter is an incoming freshman she never took to the hobby but I am willing to aid where I can.  I am a product of the other HU Hampton I tried to get the campus station up and  running in the early 80s but to no avail. I did activate fromMy dorm room with an old Eico 720 and made numerous contacts over the years there but nothing that generated enough interest

I've been having problems searching the ARRL QST archive for the complete
article for the snippet that @Reginald Smith <rsmith at supremevinegar.com> found
on google. I'm getting errors and throws from ARRL's QST archive which
makes me think that they haven't completely recovered from the cyberattack.

@Cortney Smith, I've also reached out to Wilfrid Amisial on linkedin.com as
you recommended. My former professor, Dr. Walter Oliver, suggests I talk
with Dr. Mohmoh because he may know Mr. Amisial and had him in one of his
classes.
