*WINLINK EXERCISE # 12 RADIOGRAMS*

*SCENARIO: *One task of the Field Day exercises is to send a radiogram to
your area ARRL Section Leader. You can earn additional points for your team
by sending up to 10 more radiograms. For practice, your task is to send me
a radiogram via Region 6 area Liaison Station.

*INSTRUCTIONS:*

   Open Winlink
   -

   Click on “Message → New Message” to create a new message
   -

   Click on “Select Template”

   When the form opens in your browser, complete each section


   -

      Number: Give it a number
      -

      Precedence: R (routine)
      -

      Heading instructions: HXC
      -

      Station of Origin: Your call sign
      -

      Check: Number of words in the body of your message (no more than 25
      words)
      -

      Place of Origin: Your City & State
      -

      Time & Date(Month- Day
      -

      Address radiogram to Carolyn Burleson, Los Angeles CA 90057

      Click on the link to select *Region 6* Liaison station*

   Click “Submit” →OK

When the form disappears, close your browser to get back to Winlink. You
will see your message populated with the information you provided on the
form.

   In the “CC” field type K6COB, KO4L
   -

   Click “Post to Outbox”
   -

   Open session
   -

   Start

Once your message is sent the system will check to see if you have any
incoming messages. If so, Click Download, and it will appear in your inbox.

Note* If you have done this correctly, I will receive your radiogram via my
Region 6 Area Liaison Station. Both Lloyd and I will receive a copy via
Winlink
