[OMIK] Call for OMIK IT committee members

Dear Member:

OMIK President Jeff Drew recently contacted all members concerning the formation of an OMIK IT Committee. The IT Committee will be initially co-chaired by Richard Bell, W5BXE, Southern Regional Director and Jess Craig, W6CKC, Central Regional Director.

To ensure that we are working collectively, the IT and Educational committees will collaborate to identify OMIK IT needs, resources, and areas of interest to all members. Frank Decuire, K6FED, will be the initial educational committee representative on the IT Committee.
The first task of the committee (among many) will be to assess OMIK technology and survey the membership to determine priorities and goals as well as addressing technology concerns members might have.  It is likely that additional areas of technology will emerge as the committee makes progress.

You are invited and encouraged to participate in our effort to enhance OMIK’s technology effort, by serving on this committee.
