I could be wrong but I think they(the connectors) will work just find, the
more important question is the weather sealing. I have been out on many
antenna teams with different clubs and the one thing we all ways did was to
weather seal the connections with a weather proofing kit.
I try to keep several kits on hand , I use Wireless Solutions Universal
Weather Proofing kit type WK-U here. Andrew puts out a kit that I have seen
at many ham fest also. On commercial towers it will last for 15 years or
more, just make sure to tie off the cable(UV Rated Ties) to the tower to
