Dear OMIK family,

Aaron George, N6BJK, became a Silent Key on April 8, 2014 and was a proud member and fan of radio operations.
He started out on the CB bands. In the early 70’s and was known around the world as “Blue Mark”. He attended all the radio breaks operations In Los Angles, Atlanta, Seattle, Dallas, as well as San Diego. He was an associate member of the WEST Coast Soul Brothers and Sisters. Later he was one of the founders of The San Diego Based “Border Controllers” CB Club. In 1993 he qualified for an Amateur Radio license with The Federal Communications System and became a member of the San Diego Metropolitan ARC and OMIK Amateur Radio Association. His Call was KE6BJK and later became N6BJK. Amateur Radio has lost a outstanding
Operator and a true friend.  Keep the family in your thoughts and prayers.
