Kevin,

Thanks for the description of your setup. My setup is much simpler but it keeps growing. I have my ham shack in the basement which I leave on 24/7 running WSJT-x and JT Alert which plays a tone when a new DX shows up on a band I don’t have confirmed. I can hear it beep from upstairs. I have a VNC client on my iPad and a server running on my WSJT pc with CAT control to my radio. I do a lot of my Dxing from my recliner or my bed if I wake up in the middle of the night. I am setting up an automatic antenna tuner so I can remotely control it too. I am also setting up a Linux server I can tunnel into from my lake cabin and run my radio from there when I’m away from home. The digital world has certainly change the radio world.
